After today is finished I'll only have 5 more days to go

I've been under some stress too and I wanted to cave in soooo bad!!

HEADACHE!!

It's 6 26 am and I have the GNARLIEST headache.
Holy fuck it's aweful!!!!!!

I actually had to breakdown and take some painkillers for this.

I've read that this is the body releasing built up toxins and to expect this over the next couple days.

YAY!

Day 2 of the Master Cleanse

Today is not so hard as yesterday. Not by a long shot.

I'm not nearly as hungry.
I don't think about food as much.

I had a crazy burst of energy today for 4 hours and cleaned my room, redid my iguana room, cleaned my 50 gallon Jack Demsey tank, cleaned the kitchen and took Frey Frey, Loki and Chew for an hour long romp @ the school in the snow.

I don't know if it's my own thing, or because of the cleanse or a little of both, but I've been bringing up memories of the past in my dreams. People and places I've been to or haven't been to but certain past experiences are surrounding it.
Reuniting with past people. Having joyful reunions.
Reconnecting with past foes and becoming friends.
It's really weird.

And then all day today I've been thinking about it all.
Rehashing moments in my life that I wish I could redo.
If I had a Delorian and a Flux Capacitor...............
heh

I'm thinking of people I miss today.
People I wish I could still talk to.
But pride or something won't let me.
In my mind, they've made their choices.
And I don't want to hear about mutual people either.
That would hurt too much.
Not yet anyhow.
I dunno when I'll be ready for that.

Anyways, I just did my salt water flush, so I expect to be on YE OLDE THRONE for about an hour in 15 or so. I best get my book and be ready.

Day 1 of the Master Cleanse COMPLETE!

Well I made it through day 1!!

UGH!
2 internal salt water flushes later and I feel DRAINED.
And with an unholy thirst for water that can't be quenched.
I musta pissed at least 20 times today already hahahahah.

I really love the lemon/syrup/cayenne drink though.
I think I'll make this on a regular basis after the cleanse just because I forgot how I enjoy it so much!

I'm actually going to sleep now because I am so drained.

I'll hopefully wake up early enough to finish up Rachel's dreads so I can seal them all on Thursday.

totally tired and drained from crappin' my brains out.

Day 3 of Ease In complete

I had orange juice and water all day long.

I'm doing fine.

I start The Master Cleanse on Tuesday beginning with the internal salt water flush.

10 day countdown!

I'm EXCITED!

This is the start of a new life for me.

I'm going to be SO healthy after this.

All new inside and cleansed and ready to start living raw vegan again.

Day 2 of ease in

Today I made delicious berry smoothies all day, and a homemade vegan soup using just water, spices and chopped up veggies (all organic of course):
zucchini
potato
yam
celery
carrot
tomato

I didn't take any pics cuz I was a slacker.
I'll try not to slack anymore.

Sunday is all about the orange juice.

I'm getting really excited!

I kinda got sick of food the last week because of my over indulgence the last 2 months and I'm ready to clean out.

I focus on the end of my cleanse. How I'll look and feel after and what I will hope to achieve:

After my cleanse I want my skin to be radiant!
I want to feel lighter because of all that undigested crap outta my system.
I want to feel healthier.
I want my nails and hair to be shinier and stronger.
I want to be able to change my entire diet back around to mostly raw foods and mostly vegan.
I'm going to continue to have some fish here and there and hopefully wean that out completely after a month or so.
I want to feel more motivated to work out and go jogging.
I want my mood to improve.
I want to feel happier.
I want to feel like my "old blissful self" again.
I want to switch my sleeping schedule around and stop spending so much time sleeping in dream land.
I want to feel more motivated to do hobbies and to visit people.
I want to be free.

Eggplant Bharta my last cooked meal for at least 2 weeks.

I had my "last cooked supper" tonight:

Eggplant Bharta

1 large eggplant
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 tomato, diced
1/2 cup almond milk
1 fresh jalapeno chile pepper, finely chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 bunch cilantro, finely chopped


DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
2. Place eggplant on a medium baking sheet. Bake 20 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until tender. Remove from heat, cool, peel, and chop.
3. Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Mix in cumin seeds and onion. Cook and stir until onion is tender.
4. Mix ginger garlic paste, curry powder, and tomato into the saucepan, and cook about 1 minute. Stir in almond milk. Mix in eggplant and jalapeno pepper, and season with salt. Cover, and cook 10 minutes over high heat. Remove cover, reduce heat to low, and continue cooking about 5 minutes. Garnish with cilantro to serve.

Ok so after a good 2 hour meditation I've decided that I'm going to start the Ease in Process today. Instead of dropping right into T.M.C.

Today I say goodbye to cooked foods. I'm having my last cooked meal for AT LEAST 2 weeks today.
I'm making eggplant bharta on basmati rice.

I've already had a HUGE, epic salad with organic spring greens, organic tomatoes and organic blackberries.

I'll have another huge salad with dinner.

Tomorrow I will eat one salad, and mostly fruit smoothies and broths all day.

And on Monday it will be the all orange juice.

I've already bought all my supplies for the next week.
With salads, fruit smoothie stuff, orange juice and The Master Cleanse ingredients it all came to about 70 bucks.


Here is my bountiful booty from today's shopping:

Organic lemons, non iodized sea salt, grade B or #2 organic maple syrup and organic cayenne pepper



Orange juice, organic tomatoes and org. bananas buried under organic kale, frozen blueberries and raspberries behind, organic blackberries, garlic (for my eggplant bharta) and organic lemons.

I'm going to be purchasing a large amount of organic lemons, organic cayenne, organic Grade B Maple Syrup, and Organic unrefined Sea Salt today.

I'm going to shoot for 14 days.

And then I am going to go back to being a raw vegan again.

Meat has done NOTHING for me.
Even though I find it delicious. It makes me sick, it makes me depressed, it makes me fat and it makes my skin dull and my hair lifeless and my nails brittle and flakey.

On Sunday I am taking back my health!

2010 New Years Resolutions.

I've never made New Years Resolutions before. I never understood what the big deal was.

I guess I figured this was a good year to start.

Last year I quit smoking marijuana.
I think that was a REALLY huge hurdle I had to get over.
The year before I went Raw Vegan and I intend to get back on that again this year.

This year I have 10 things I promised myself I would accomplish:


1. get in shape
-push ups and sit ups every day
-walk freya at least 90 minutes a day, working up to jogging.
-start going swimming and think about getting a ymca membership

2. eat better
-cut out meat gradually until I am raw vegan again
-get going on green smoothies every day again
-get that fiber intake up

3. go visiting more
-try to go @ least once a week to someone's house

4. write more e mails and snail mail to people.
-make little art cards like Lorra made for me. (inspired much?)

5. tell my friends more that I love them and care about them
-try to do little things for them that mean lots

6. think positive
-get outta this 2 year depression
-get over that relationship that's been burning a hole in my heart for 2 years.

7. get my ass to either burning man or shambhala or both
-talk to people, research, start accumulating supplies

8. make art/be more creative
-paint
-draw
-wire jewelry
-resin jewelry
-photography
-sew

9. stuff my brain full of "off the grid" knowledge
-research, research, research bitches!!

10. learn to love myself again
-meditate
-get strong
-get healthy
-treat my body right
-think positive
-surround myself with good people and positive vibes

HI!

I'm Bliss.

I'm a 33 year old, fat, "alternative" girl that lives in the sack of shit, go-no-where town of Kelowna BC Canada.

I've had a shitty 4 years of my life.
The last 2 being the worst.

It's all caught up with me and I have become MORBIDLY depressed this last year of 2009.

I made a promise to myself in December: Turn my life around.

I made a mini go of it in 2008 when I went raw vegan for 8 months.
Times fell hard and I lost my way.

I'm about to jump back on it again and I'm grabbing life by the balls and getting back on "the horse" as it were.


I've decided to create an area when I will write about my new life.
And everything that encompasses it.

I'm not sure what I am hoping to achieve with this, but at the very least it's a really good creative outlet and that was one of my New Years Resolutions: 8. make art/be more creative

I've never made NY resolutions before but I figured this was a good year to giver.

I'll be making 3 new posts today.

I'll try to update this every day.
